Wall-E was one of the most delightful films I've seen in a while. Not only will your children like it, but you'll find yourself caring about this robot before you know it. My favorite part of this film is when Wall-E sees his love Eve for the first time. You can feel his emotion like he was seeing an angel, I guess to him it was.
Sun, 06 Jul 2008 16:44:00 PDT The Incredible Hulk

Edward Norton and Liv Tylor were great in this new version of The Incredible Hulk. If you remember a hulk film was tried a couple years ago and fell a bit short of expectations. I enjoyed it but the cgi was a little heavy.

This movie was great and I came out with a few favorite scenes. I can't tell you my very favorite, it came at the end of the film. Let's just say there's probably more to come!
Mon, 23 Jun 2008 04:07:00 PDT The Happening

I have to admit that this movie was ruined for me before I even saw it. I was surfing the net and came upon another movie review blog whose latest review was for The Happening. This blogger hated the movie so much that he didn't want people to waste their money seeing it, so he described scene after scene and blasted every bit of it.

The real low down on this film is that it's very much like The Village. It builds up very mysteriously and really holds your interest. It makes you start to care about the characters and what happens to them. However, when you get to the end you feel disappointed and unfulfilled.
Shyamalan is great at everything but a good ending and because of this I could not enjoy the movie.

I love Mark Wahlberg but in this film he just comes off as a winy mixed up school boy. This role was not for him.
 Fri, 13 Jun 2008 04:19:00 PDT ZOHAN

This was a very funny movie, not roll on the floor but filled with plenty of chuckles. Adam Sandler really got fit for this part and he's looking not to shabby. In fact I'd like the address of that salon he's working at! My favorite parts are when he's doing the hair in the salon. I don't want to spoil it for anyone so I'll just leave you with wow!

Thu, 12 Jun 2008 07:28:00 PDT SEX IN THE CITY

Those of us who followed the series were thrilled that a movie was coming. After all those four ladies were not only our entertainment but somehow also became our friends. When the series ended it left some questions about what happened in their lives. The movie was no blockbuster but I like to think of it as an extra special episode where our questions would be answered. It did deliver on this. If you were a fan you should see this film.

Wed, 11 Jun 2008 06:48:00 PDT BABY MAMA

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler did a wonderful job in making this film funny and enjoyable. It won't make you roll on the floor, but you will get a few laughs. It's worth seeing and of course it has a happy ending for everyone so it won't leave you wanting.

 Tue, 10 Jun 2008 04:39:00 PDT SHUTTER

For once a movie delivers more than the trailer promises. This movie is especially creepy because most of us have already seen The Ring and The Grudge. All you have to do is show me a Japense girl with long hair in her face and I'm scared already. I can't tell you my favorite scene because I don't want to ruin the surprise for you, but see this film if you're into horror. It won't disappoint!

Mon, 09 Jun 2008 03:57:00 PDT THE STRANGERS

This movie is said to have been inspired by true events. How sad and senseless. Up until the end of the film, I thought to myself, "how many hundreds of times have we seen this plot?". I didn't know till after I watch it that it was based on a true story. That seemed to make a difference to me because then it wasn't just another one of "those" movies, I was watching something that really happened to someone. Then came the end and it was difficult to watch. This film might not be that entertaining but it does draw you in and keep your interest, and most important it's a movie that you think about for awhile after you've seen it.

 Fri, 16 May 2008 13:56:00 PDT 88 MINUTES

Like some movies 88 Minutes promised just a little more than it actually delivered. This is not to say that the movie was not good. I liked the fact that the whole movie took place in a short amount of time and that it got started right away. However in my opinion they made a fatal error in casting. I will tell you who did it, so if you don't want to know you can stop reading now. The reason I can tell you is because I believe in casting LeeLee S. as just another student in Al Pucino's class, where any extra would do, they gave the end away. It's still a good film and worth the time watching.
 Wed, 30 Apr 2008 13:31:00 PDT CARVER
This is just another slasher movie with close-ups of gross impaling and other gruesome acts. The best part in my opinion is when the words The End appeared on the screen. What makes it even sadder is that it's supposed to be based on a true story. I have no more words...
